Who we are (data controller)

Motion [legal form, e.g. S.à r.l.], registered office at [street address], Luxembourg, registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register under [RCS B######], VAT number [LU########].

For any question about your personal data, contact us at info@motion.lu or +352 621 206 590.

What data we collect

  • Details you submit through our contact form: name, email address, company and the content of your message.
  • Communication data when you email or call us.
  • Technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) collected automatically to operate and secure the site.

We do not knowingly collect special-category data and the site requires no account.

Why we use your data and our legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare quotes or services — performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To operate, secure and improve the website — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Where required, with your consent — e.g. non-essential cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and, where a business relationship follows, for the retention periods required under Luxembourg law (generally up to 10 years for accounting records). Technical logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

Who has access to your data

Your data is handled by Motion's team and by trusted service providers who help us operate the site (e.g. hosting, email, and any analytics), under contract and only as needed. [List your processors here.] We never sell your data. Where a provider is located outside the EU/EEA, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your personal data;
  • have it corrected or erased;
  • restrict or object to its processing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, email info@motion.lu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg supervisory authority, the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD) — www.cnpd.lu.
